This page is designed to help my client's family, friends, and wedding party prepare for their upcoming toasts. Spending a few minutes here, will ensure your toast will be remembered by the bride and groom for years to come.
LIVE TOASTS: If you are doing a toast at the reception, please remember:
The toasts will take place AFTER dinner is finished.
I'll have a wireless microphone for you on a mic stand.
I'll call you to the mic in the order that the bride & groom have determined.
Don't forget to bring your champagne (or favorite beverage) glass with you.
Stand close to the mic stand and project your voice.
If you feel more comfortable, you can remove the mic from the stand.
When you are finished, raise your glass and toast the newlyweds.
Please call me with any questions or concerns you have before wedding day.
For more info on giving a great toast, Google "Wedding Toasts" or pick up this great book:
LONG DISTANCE TOASTS: As an added service to my clients, I provide a way for friends and family who can not attend the wedding, the ability to toast or record a message. This message will be played back during the live toasts after dinner during the reception. If you have been selected for this honor by the bride and groom, please follow these easy instructions on how to record your toast.
Call my Toll-Free Toast Line at (800) 555-6580.
Leave your message and speak clearly and slowly.
If possible, call from a "land-line" phone, not a cell phone.
Make sure you call at least 7 days before the wedding.
